SPLIT Night

Split-night PSG with CPAP titration: Split-night PSG is conducted when moderate or severe sleep apnea has been discovered or strongly suspected during the first part of the night's study. The second half of the night is used to determine the necessary CPAP pressure required to alleviate apnea.

We offer cable television so that he/she can relax and feel at home. Our televisions include VCRs so that the patient can bring his/her own movies from home, or they can ask one of our techs for our current releases from our video library. We also have reading materialto relax with if the patient so prefers before going to sleep. If necessary, South Bay Regional Comprehensive Sleep Disorders Center understands the difficulty in doing an overnight procedure alone so arrangements can be made to have a family member stay the night.

We do not do hotel studies. All studies are performed in a Medical Lab.
